What stays on your Mac

• Your Premiere project and raw video and audio files.
• The local Companion database, pairing token, and run state.
• Timeline mutations, which are executed by the Premiere panel and remain undoable in Premiere.

What reaches your AI provider

Your instruction and the minimum project context required to reason about it—such as sequence structure, clip names, and timecodes—are sent through Claude Code or Codex. Raw source footage is not sent by Liora. Provider processing is governed by the provider account, plan, settings, and terms you control.

Local connection security

• Companion listens on the loopback interface, not a public network interface.
• The panel pairs with a locally generated bearer token.
• Companion does not store Claude or OpenAI passwords or provider API keys.
• The Premiere panel remains the only component that executes timeline mutations.

App integrity and updates

Production macOS builds are signed with a Dumo LLC Developer ID Application certificate, notarized by Apple, and stapled before publication. Companion verifies update metadata and accepts only artifacts signed by the configured updater key.
