In your timeline

A panel next to the program monitor — not a separate app

Approval-gated

Every action is shown and waits for your OK

$0 marginal

Runs on your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan

127.0.0.1

Local companion; source footage is never uploaded by Liora

How it works

It reasons about the timeline you have open

01

Reads your live project

Every request starts from a snapshot of your open project — the bin, every sequence, clip ranges, tracks, and exactly what you have selected right now.

02

Looks when it needs to

When a decision depends on what a shot looks like, Liora renders frames straight from your sequence and inspects them — locally, on the footage already in your project.

03

Proposes the exact action

Before changing a single frame, Liora shows you the precise edit it’s about to make. Approve it, approve-always for routine work, or decline and redirect.

04

Commits as a native edit

The change lands as a named Premiere transaction on your real timeline — the same edit you’d make by hand, and one Cmd+Z away from gone.

Talk to your timeline

Like it’s an assistant sitting next to you

Select a clip, or a run of clips, and say what you want. Liora is selection-aware — “this,” “these,” and “here” mean exactly what you’ve highlighted. But it’s never boxed in: name a clip, a timecode, or another sequence and it works on that instead.

  • >Ripple-delete this and close the gap.
  • >Add a five-frame cross-dissolve between these two.
  • >Trim eight frames off the head of this clip.
  • >Move these three to the end of the sequence.
  • >Disable the clip on the top track — I want to see what's under it.
  • >Put a Gaussian Blur on this one.
  • >Drop chapter markers at each of these points.
  • >Insert this B-roll at the playhead on V2.
  • >Render the work area to a file.

Why it’s different

An assistant with initiative, none of the risk

Liora isn’t a separate app that swallows your footage and hands back a mystery cut. It makes the same edits you’d make by hand — you just describe them.

Selection-aware

“This,” “these,” and “here” mean exactly what you’ve highlighted in the timeline — just like they would to a human editor. Name a clip or timecode and it works there instead.

Approve, then undo

Nothing happens behind your back. Liora shows the exact action before it changes a frame. Every edit lands as a native, named Premiere transaction — a single Cmd+Z reverts it.

Understands your project

Every request starts from a live snapshot: the bin, every sequence and its clip table, the active sequence, your selection. When it matters, Liora renders frames on demand and looks at them.

Private by design

No ingesting, indexing, or uploading source media to Liora. The companion stays on localhost; prompts and the minimum timeline context go directly to the AI provider you choose.

Pricing

Runs free on the subscription you already have

Liora ships a tiny local companion that drives the CLI you already use — Claude Code on your Claude Pro or Max plan, or OpenAI Codex on your ChatGPT plan. Every bit of AI work rides inside that subscription, bounded only by your normal plan limits.

No Liora API bill and no second AI account. Your footage stays on your Mac.

No API keys

Nothing to create, rotate, or paste into a settings box.

No metered billing

No per-token charges, no usage dashboard, no surprise invoice.

Credentials stay put

The companion never sees or stores your Claude or ChatGPT login.

Private by design

Binds to localhost only (127.0.0.1) behind a private token.
